The staffs of Government Botanical Garden are actively involved in collecting seed work from flower plants.

April and May are the summer seasons and September and October are a second season in Ooty. Most of the foreign tourist inflict Ooty during the month of September and October which is the second season in Ooty. Flower plants will be planted to attract the tourist.

This year two million flower plants planted in Botanical Garden. The flowers bloomed in the season time which greatly impressed the tourists.

The flowers have loosened its blossom and rotted due to heavy rain for the last few days. Currently, the task of collecting seeds from the flower plants is underway.

Park officials said about this was the seeds exported from foreign are planted at season time. The seeds will be collected from that flower plants. After finishing the flowering, they will be separated. The seeds are used to be planted at season time. The seeds also sold at a low price to the tourists who come here. All the tourist will buy this seeds with interest.
