The 120th Flower Show will be starting from tomorrow in Government Botanical Garden Ooty.
Summer Season:
As it is a summer season the tourist from a different place has gathered in Ooty to enjoy the season. In order to entertain tourist different program has been conducted in Ooty. On June 21st, the fruit show was conducted in Coonoor in order to attract the tourist and also to make this summer season special.
In this situation the 120th flower show is conducted in Government botanical garden is starting from tomorrow (i.e 27/5/2016).For this flower show, nearly 3 lakh flower has been planted.Currently, all the flowers are blossomed the garden gives colour and will give a visual treat to the tourists.
120th Flower Show:
In this 120th flower exhibition in order to attract the tourist 15 thousand flower pots has been placed on the stack. Similarly using the flower pots star, triangle, tower shapes has been done. Also using 1 lakh and 30 thousand carnations and rose flowers they have made the similar structure of Chennai central railway station.The garden employees are curiously involved in this work.Based on this the Collector Shankar said:
In order to attract tourist 15 thousand flower plot has been placed on the stack. In addition to the new garden, the flower pots have been done in different structure and kept in the garden.
Central Railway Station:
In this flower show 68 feet long, 10 feet wide, 30 feet tall central railway station similar structure has been done by using 1 lakh and 30 thousand carnations and rose flowers. This huge structure is expected to attract the tourist greatly.
In addition 10 feet long, feet wide, 6 feet tall the structure of sparrow has also been structured using 75 thousand carnation flowers. Similarly from abroad different flowers has been imported and placed in the eyes of tourists.
5 Home Flowers:
In this show 5 home flower decoration, using orchid flower 5 decorated curves and also unique flower has been kept. In addition, imported tulip flower from Netherland is also placed to attract tourists.
For this 3 days, the cultural dancers from various states have been arrived to entertain the tourist. On last day i.e on 29th May, the trophies will be given to the best private garden.
