Increase in inflow of tourists to Mudumalai

Elephant Safari Rides and Vehicle Safari Rides has been held by the Forest Department in order to attract the tourists.The acrobatics guide the guests into the forest by Elephant or by vehicle and showing the wild animals. The tourists have also seen the elephants at Theppakadu in Mudumalai.

Due to rain, the number of tourists arrival to Mudumalai Forest has been decreased for last few days.Since the pleasant climate prevailed in Mudumalai, so the number of tourists to Mudumalai is increased.There are more than 500 tourists are coming to visit this place during holidays.

Elephant Safari Ride has been cancelled for the past few days because of some reasons. So the tourists are riding in a vehicle inside the forests.Rs 135 is collected as a ride charge.Some of them are spotting animals in a ride and some times they get disappointed if they are not spotting animals in a ride.

The tourists enjoy visiting the elephant which has been feed at Theppakadu Camp in Mudumalai.They also enjoy taking pictures of elephant and selfie snap by standing in front of the elephant.

The Elephant Ride was cancelled ,this highly disappointed the visitors.So the acrobatics should take action to start the Elephant Safari again in Mudumalai.Sometimes there is no possibility of seeing wild life animals in a ride.So it is good if the acrobatics take the tourists through different paths, Tourists said.
