Maintenance-free Nehru Park

The Nehru park has been maintained by the Panjayat Administration for the past 5 years.The effusion of the garden has been lost for last few years due to lack of maintenance.The sowing works are in process in Ooty Botanical Garden for the summer season.But no garden works has been carried out in Kotagiri Nehru Park.To see the flowers in the garden is rare due to lack of water facility.The lawn of the garden also left without maintenance.The number of local visitors has also decreased dramatically.

Every year Vegetable Show has been organised here on summer season.But due to the election, the vegetable show was cancelled last year.This year there is a high possibility to conduct vegetable show in Nehru Park.The Panjayat Union should hire  more workers and prior action should be taken to brighten the garden for the forthcoming summer season.
