The staffs of Ooty Dendrology Park are actively involved in the task of collecting seeds from the plants.

Ooty also described as "Queen of hill Station" becomes the best summer resort in International Level Tourism.The period of Summer Season is from March month to May Month in Ooty.Every day thousands of tourists influx to Ooty during this summer season.

The second season in Ooty held in October and November month.Second Season is also a snow cold season.Inorder to enjoy this season,more than 22 Lakhs people from local and abroad are an influx to Ooty.This obtains multi-crore revenue.

Dendrology park is located near Ooty Boat House.The different variety of trees brought from the Himalayas were planted and maintained here.Apart from this "Willow Tree" which is used to produce Cricket Bat are also preserved here.This park has an eye-catching green lawn and the flower plants such as Prajmerrie Gold, Salvia, Inka Marrie Gold, Blocks and Piconiya were transplanted for the last summer season.

The tourists were enjoyed viewing the flowers which were bloomed in plants in last summer season.Since the summer season has ended, the flower bloom has also faded.

The staffs are engaged in the work of collecting seeds for the second season.The seeds which have been collected here are hand over to the Botanical garden and the seeds will be sold for the tourists from the store of Botanical Garden.
