The world famous Ooty Summer Festival - 2017 is held annually in the Queen of Hills - Ooty during the month of May. The Summer Festival which includes flower show, fruit show, vegetable show, rose show and spice show, attracts a huge number of tourists to Ooty. Different verities of flowers, fruits and vegetables, and several images of animals and birds decorated with flowers are displayed during the Summer Festival to provide a visual treat to the tourists.
Several adventurous activities, art exhibitions, and cultural activities including the dance show of Todas and Badagas are held during the Flower show.
The much awaited 121st three day annual flower show organized by the Government of TamilNadu will be held from May 19 to May 21 at the Ooty Botanical garden.
The 59th annual fruit show will be held between May 27 and May 28 at Sim's Park in Coonoor.
The annual Ooty Rose show will be held between May 13 and May 14 at Government Rose Garden in Ooty.
The annual vegetable show will be held between May 6 and May 7 at Kotagiri.
