There are two boathouses in Ooty.They are main Ooty Boat house and Ooty honeymoon boat house.Most of the people are visiting the main boat house.Few of them also visiting the Honeymoon Boat House which is located west side of the main boat house.Children's play area is operating here without any fare,so the Children's and parents show more interest to visit this place.

 

Honeymoon Boat House was established 10 years before on the west side of the Ooty lake.This boat house was built in a hurry situation.This honeymoon boat house was built using Iron and steel instead of using Cement Concrete.The boards and Irons are in rusting stage and the up roofs which is above the parking place of the boats are also get damaged.The tourism wellwishers are demanding the tourism industry to take prior action in order to prevent the possibility of accidents.
