The planting work in Sim's park for second season-1.5 Lakh flower plants are going to be planted.

Planting work  of 1.5 Lakh flower Plants for second season has carried out intensively in Coonoor Sim's Park.Sim's Park belongs to Horticulture Department is a major attraction in Coonoor.This Park Spreads over an area of 30 acres.Every year different types of flower plants are planting here for summer season.The work of planting these flower plants at Sim's Park has begun Yesterday.

This has been inaugrated by the assistant Director of Horticulture Department Dr.Ramasundar.He said,Every year month of May and June is first season and September,October month is second season in Nilgiri District.The tourists to Nilgiris for second season is mostly from Northside.One and half Lakh flower plants has been planted in Coonoor Sim's park for second season to entertain the tourists.The flower plants with 32 varieties such as Rose,Salvia,Marygold,Calvimia etc., were got from different places are going to be planted in Sim's Park.The planting work has started already,the flower plants with blooming flowers will be displayed to the tourists at second season in this park.
