Snowfall season has begun in Ooty

Since this year there is no expected northeast and south-west monsoon rainfall in Ooty and people also suffered a lot for drinking water.The snowfall season has begun at the last week of November itself.The impact of the snowfall was high for the past two days.Normally winter season will begin only in the second week of December.However now the highest temperature in daytime held is 18-degree celsius and the minimum temperatures at night time is around 6-degree celsius in Ooty.

 

Usually, the impact of snowfall depends on the northeast and south-west monsoon rainfall.So it is expected that the impact of the snowfall is less this year due to less monsoon rainfall.

 

Though the local people has suffered due to snowfall, the tourists are greatly enjoying the climate.
