Summer preparation works in Ooty Botanical Garden

Yearly there are a numerous number of tourists came to Ooty during summer season i.e., in April and May month.The tourist and horticulture department organises various events in order to entertain the tourists.Especially World famous Flower show which is being held at Ooty Botanical Garden on every May Month.There are several numbers of tourists arrive Ooty for Flower Show.The exhibition will be conducted for 2 days when the influx of visitors to Ooty will be more.

Two months ago the planting work has started in this garden.As the plants have grown very well, now the maintaining work of 15thousand flower plants are held in this garden.In order to protect the plants from snowfall last week, these plants were covered by Kothagiri Plants.As now the impact of the snowfall is in the lower level, so the Kothagiri plants have removed from the plants.Fertilising works have carried out throughout the garden.the staffs are actively engaged in maintaining garden works.
