Tea and Tourism Festival

Today Tea and tourism festival are celebrated in Ooty on behalf of Tourism Department and Tea Board.The Pongal is celebrated around 10.30 am with the tourists at Ooty Boat House.The Tea Exhibition and the stage performance will be held at 11.30 am at Ooty Botanical Garden.

The cultural events are also being organised on behalf of Tanjoor Southern Center.The separate tea based pavillions will be set up for Tea Board, government tea horticulture and co-operative Tea Factory Company on behalf of Government and Private factories.

Tea Tourism Festival will be the best entertainment to the tourists who will come to Ooty for a Pongal Holidays and it gives the best opportunity for the tourists to know about the medicinal value of the Tea.
