Boat Ride has started again at Coonoor Sims Park,the tourists are happy

Boat Ride has started again at Coonoor Sim's Park, the tourists are happy:

Sim's park is the major tourist spot in Coonoor, which is operated under horticulture department.Boat Riding is a key attraction in this park.

The compound wall  of Sim's Park has been damaged last year due to heavy rain in Coonoor. The water level decreased in the lake, so the boat riding has been stopped.Rs.20 Lakhs Fund has allocated for Repairing work.

The water in the lake discharged and the reformation work has begun on last March month.As this work has not completed before the second season, so the aligning work has stopped.After fruit show, the aligning work has begun.Currently, the Aligning work and lake formation work has been done at this park.

There are 6 boats, which were painted and  prepared for a boat ride.The water level also increased due to monsoon rain.Boat ride inaugurated event has been conducted by Horticulture Department, which is inaugurated by the MP Mr.Arjunan.Board Chairman Mr.Mani, MP Mr.Gopala Krishnan and Mr. Kalai Selvan were lead the function.

The number of passengers to Boat Ride and the Number of visitors to Sim's Park is less due to heavy rain in Coonoor.But it is expected more visitors to the Sim's Park for the second season.
