The Nilgiri Police has involved in a security work at major tourist destinations on yesterday.Yesterday, valentine's day was celebrated all over the world.Every year the couples influx to Ooty on this special day.There are also some of the star hotels had organised a different Valentine's Day programmes in order to help the couples to enjoy the Valentine's Day.The influx of tourists to Ooty was more for the past two days.Especially the count of newly married couples is more.As well as the Foreign Couples also arrived Ooty to celebrate their Valentine's Day.

Though some of the couples visited Ooty on yesterday, the number of visitors to tourist places such as Botanical Garden, Rose Garden, Boat House, Pykara Falls etc., was very less.Roses sold more in most of the flowers shops in Ooty.The couple crowd was more at Gift and Greeting selling shops.Additional Police Security service had been given on yesterday at the major tourist spots of the Nilgiri District.The Police also involved in patrolling and security service at the places including Botanical Garden, Rose Garden, Boat House and Pykara Falls.
