Since the beginning of  Summer Season in Nilgiri District,the number of tourists to Mudumalai forest has increased.

Mudumalai Tiger Archive becomes the best Tourist Destination as well as the best habitat for the wildlife animals.There are various wildlife animals including Elephants, Tigers, Leopards, Deer and Wild Cattle have been living here.Annually there is more than one lakh tourist people are used to come to Mudumalai Tiger Reserve to visit wildlife animals.

Since the beginning of the summer season in the Nilgiris district,a large number of tourists from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and several other states are coming to visit Mudumalai Forest.The tourists who are coming to visit Mudumalai are also visiting the other key attraction of Nilgiris such as Ooty, Coonoor, and Kotagiri Sightseeing places.

The forest department is showing Wildlife areas and wild animals to tourists through forest vehicles from Theppakad. Due to inadequate vehicles on last year,this year the Tiger Reserve has bought three new vehicles.This safari ride is conducted at Morning and evening times.So all the tourists are getting a chance to go for riding.

The tourists show more interest for Safari Ride.The number of visitors to Mudumalai has increased due to summer holidays.
