1. About Travel2Ooty
Travel2Ooty provides cab booking assistance, Ooty sightseeing taxi arrangements, outstation pickup and drop services, tour package coordination, hotel assistance and related travel support services in and around Ooty, Coonoor, Pykara, Avalanche, Mudumalai, Coimbatore, Mettupalayam and nearby destinations.
We act as a local travel operator and service coordinator. Some services such as hotels, entry tickets, boating, toy train tickets, safaris and activities may be provided by third-party vendors or government departments.
2. Enquiries and Booking Confirmation
- Submitting an enquiry through our website, WhatsApp, phone or email does not automatically confirm a booking.
- A booking is confirmed only after availability is checked, trip details are finalized and the required advance payment is received.
- Trip details, cab type, hotel, pickup place, drop place, sightseeing plan and price should be checked by the customer before payment.
- Any verbal or WhatsApp discussion must be treated as provisional unless confirmed in writing by Travel2Ooty.
3. Pricing and Inclusions
Prices may vary based on cab type, travel date, number of days, pickup and drop location, hotel selection, season, route, guest count, activities and availability.
- Cab package prices normally include fuel, driver bata, tolls and parking only when specifically mentioned.
- Hotel package prices include only the hotel, room type and meal plan mentioned in the written quote.
- Entry fees, boating, forest safari, toy train, activity tickets, meals and personal expenses are excluded unless clearly mentioned.
- Any extra route, extra time, early pickup, late drop, route diversion or additional sightseeing may attract additional charges.
4. Advance Payment and Balance Payment
- Advance payment is collected to block cab, driver, hotel or trip arrangements.
- Balance payment must be paid as per the payment instruction shared by Travel2Ooty.
- Payments may be accepted through Razorpay, UPI, bank transfer or other approved payment modes.
- If payment is made directly to a driver, hotel or third party, the customer must immediately share proof with Travel2Ooty for record update.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Advance payments are generally non-refundable because they are used to block cab, driver, hotel rooms or other travel services.
- Cancellation charges depend on travel date, hotel policy, vendor policy and services already blocked.
- No refund may be available for same-day cancellation, no-show, late arrival or cancellation after service blocking.
- If any refund is approved, processing time may vary depending on payment gateway, bank or vendor settlement.
- Government closure, weather issues, traffic restrictions or road closure may affect trip execution. Refunds or alternatives depend on the specific service provider policy.
6. Sightseeing, Route and Timing
- Local sightseeing cabs generally operate within the agreed service window, commonly 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM unless otherwise confirmed.
- Hill station travel depends on weather, traffic, road conditions, parking availability and local authority restrictions.
- AC may be switched off in hill station climbs, ghat sections or restricted zones for safety and vehicle performance.
- If a sightseeing spot is closed, unavailable or restricted, Travel2Ooty will try to guide the customer, but alternate spots cannot always be guaranteed.
7. Hotel and Package Bookings
- Hotel check-in and check-out timings are governed by the hotel policy.
- Early check-in, late checkout, room upgrade, extra bed and meal changes are subject to availability and extra charges.
- Hotel names may be replaced with similar category hotels only if the original hotel becomes unavailable before confirmation.
- Any damage caused by guests at hotel, cab or activity location must be settled directly by the customer.
8. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate name, mobile number, email, travel date, pickup location, drop location and passenger count.
- Carry valid ID proof as required by hotels, authorities or service providers.
- Reach pickup point on time and follow driver, hotel and local authority instructions.
- Review quote, invoice, itinerary and payment request before making payment.
9. Website, Account and Communication
Customers may receive booking details, payment links, trip updates, invoices and support messages through email, phone, SMS or WhatsApp. By submitting an enquiry, you allow Travel2Ooty to contact you for service-related communication.
You are responsible for keeping your login details, booking access links and payment links secure.
10. Limitation of Liability
Travel2Ooty is not liable for delays, missed activities, weather issues, road closures, accidents, government restrictions, vendor failures, hotel policy changes, third-party service disruptions, personal loss or expenses beyond the value of the service arranged through us.
11. Changes to These Terms
Travel2Ooty may update these terms from time to time. The latest version published on this page will apply to new enquiries and bookings.
