The side pathway of Ooty Botanical Garden was damaged.So the renovation works have been starting here. Every day thousands of tourists are visiting Ooty.Botanical Garden is a major tourist attraction in Ooty which has been visiting by several numbers of tourists. Not only the tourists but also the local people used to go walking at morning and evening times through the side pathway to Botanical Garden.

The local people also used to go for a shopping with their children.New LED lights have also been set at the pathway between Collector Office to the park on behalf of the municipality.

For this purpose the digs have been made at the pavement path and electrical cables were buried inside.The pits made were not closed after setting the cables and the tiles which have been taken by digging were also be scattered here and there on the pathway.So the local people and tourists who walked in the morning and evening times through this pathway often met an accident.

Especially the children fall down and getting injured.The municipality has started renovation work of side pathway by considering the people which make the tourists and the local people happy.
