Before you request deletion
Account deletion can remove your login profile and eligible personal data. Some confirmed booking, invoice, tax, payment, security and dispute records may need to be retained where legally or operationally required.
How to Delete Your Account
Send an account deletion request from your registered email or WhatsApp number. We will verify ownership before processing the request.

Send your request
Email Travel2Ooty with the subject Account Deletion Request, or contact us on WhatsApp from your registered number.

Verify identity
Share your registered mobile number, email address and booking reference if available so we can identify the right account.

Deletion review
We delete eligible account data and update you after processing, subject to legal and business record requirements.
What Data Will Be Deleted
After verification, we will delete or anonymize eligible personal data linked to your Travel2Ooty account, including:
- Customer login profile details such as name, email address and mobile number, where deletion is possible.
- Non-essential website enquiry and mobile app enquiry details.
- App device tokens used for push notifications.
- Marketing or follow-up preferences connected to your account.
- Support notes that are no longer required for active service, legal, payment or dispute handling.
Data We May Need to Retain
Travel2Ooty may retain limited records when required for tax, audit, payment reconciliation, fraud prevention, booking history, safety, legal compliance or dispute resolution.
Booking and invoice records
Confirmed trip details, invoices, payment references and accounting entries may be retained for statutory and audit purposes.
Third-party records
Payment gateway, WhatsApp, email, hotel, cab vendor or other third-party data is controlled by those providers and their own policies.

Do not share passwords, OTPs, payment card details or sensitive identity documents in your first request. We will ask only for limited verification details if required.
Processing Time
We aim to acknowledge account deletion requests within 7 business days. Completion time may vary depending on account verification, active bookings, payment records, vendor coordination and legal retention requirements.
If you have an active or upcoming trip, we may need to complete the booking, payment, invoice and support process before deleting certain records.
Mobile App Users
This account deletion process applies to the Travel2Ooty mobile app and website. If you installed the app from Google Play, you may use this page as the official account deletion request page for the app.
After deletion, you may lose access to booking history, saved profile details, app notifications and customer support records linked to the deleted account.
