From British Rule,the horse Race has been held during the summer season in Ooty.The century-old horse race usually starting on 01st April every year.

This year's horse race begins on tomorrow(Tamil New Year).More than 400 horses from other places including Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai have been arrived inorder to participate in this horse race.The training has been given to these horses at Morning and Evening times.

The Horse Race dates have been announced.The horse race will be held on the dates including 14th April, 17 April, 20 April, 23 April, 24 April, 27 April, 30th April and 1st May, 4 May, 7 May, 8 May, 11 May, 14 May, 15 May, 18 May, 21 May, 22 May, 25 May, 28 May, 29 May.

The horse race will also be conducted on 1st June, 4th June, 5th June and 8th June.This horse race being held for 24 days,more than 30 Jackie has been taking part in this event.One of the famous Nilgiri Gold Cup Race will be held on 22nd May 2016.

The Horse Course is ready and grass part has maintained and grow at the appropriate level.The visitors forums also properly calibrated.This horse race has not only visited by the local people but also a numerous number of tourist people.
