The Kurinji Flower named "Stropilanthus Jinkrainus" has bloomed, which will bloom only between 16 to 18 years interval.In the beginning, there were more Kurinji Flowers of this kind present in Nilgiri District.The count has been decreased due to foreign art plants such as Parthenium and Landana.So the plans are organized on behalf of The District Forest Department to protect these type of plants.
