Ooty Mountain Train has stopped at midway due to lowest vapour pressure level

The Mountain Train has been stopped at midway between Mettupalayam to Coonoor due to lowest pressure of the engine.

Everyday mountain train goes in the morning to Ooty from Mettupalayam at 7.10 am.Not only the domestic tourists shows interest to travel in this century old train but also the foreign tourists.

This famous toy train has been driven by the Steam engine from Mettupalayam to Coonoor and then from Coonoor to Ooty by Diesel engine.

As usual, yesterday the toy train had started from Mettupalayam to Ooty at 7.10 am with 175 passengers.The operating pressure of the engine has reduced near Kallar Mountain.So the Mountain Train hs stopped at midway near the level crossing.Vehicles were not able to access due to this incident.Then  steam loaded to the engine and the toy train operated after 10 minutes.

The toy train often has gotten a stop in the midway of the journey due to lowest vapour pressure level.So the tourists are highly affected.The social welfare people are demanding the relevant officials to fix the problem of the Mountain Train Engine.
