Radio Astronomy Center is celebrating National Science Day today at Muthoraipalada

Annually National Science Day has celebrated on 28th of February. Raman Effect has obtained Nobel Prize on 28th February. So yearly National Science Day has been celebrated on this day.Radio Astronomy Center is located at Muthoraipalada in Ooty. Today Radio Astronomy Center celebrates Science Day at Muthoraipalada, where the brief explanation about Radio Telescope's Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic systems models and their functions has been given.

 

The RAC is located in the beautiful surroundings of the Nilgiri Hills and it provides a stimulating environment for the front-line research in radio astronomy and astrophysics.

 

As today RAC celebrating National Science Day, so all are allowed inside from Morning 9 am to evening 5 pm to visit this place. On Science Day competitions including essay competition, quiz, drawing scientific event, scientific experiment samples are also held at this place.
