The people have been called to participate in the Republic Day Celebration which will be conducted by the Nilgiri District Administration at Ooty Arts College Ground.

 

The Report of Nilgiris District Revenue Officer Mr Baskarapandiyan: The republic day celebration will be held on 26th Jan 2017 on behalf of the Nilgiri District Administration at Ooty Goverment Arts College.The celebration ceremony will starts at 10.00 am in the morning.The function will starts after Flog Hoisting by Nilgiri District Collector Mr Shankar and be following by the Parade taken by the Nilgiri District Police.

 

There are various events such as Honouring Freedom Fighters and Cultural programmes of the tribe people and Students being organised as a part of this celebration.The people are invited to participate in this Republic Day function and hope to make this celebration a grand success.
