Pruning Rose Bushes tasks was started yesterday at Ooty Rose Garden

Ooty Rose Garden becomes one of the best parks in International Level.This garden consists of 30,000 rose plants with 4 thousand different varieties.The flower plants produce the flowers with different colours such as green, blue, yellow, red and purple.These beautiful flowers have been admired by the numerous number of tourists.Annually summer shows being held on May month at Ooty.The flower show will be conducted at Rose Garden as a part of the summer exhibition.

As this is a right time to prune the roses in order to prepare the garden for the forthcoming summer season, so the task of Pruning Rose Bushes has started yesterday.The Nilgiri District Collector Mr Shankar has inaugurated the work.He said,"Lakhs of people will visit Ooty during summer season i.e on April and May month.Pruning works are underway at Ooty Rose Garden.The flowers will start to bloom on April first week and the flowers will be in all the plants throughout the park during May month.This gives a visual treat to the eyes of the visitor."He added.
