Single Elephant had returned back to Kallar Wild Area

The Single Elephant has returned back to Kallar Forest:

The forest officials had said that the male elephant which was roaming at a private garden in Coonoor might have gone to Kallar forest area.One Male Elephant was camping over past 10 days at Private Gardens and Kattery Park areas in Coonoor.The forest people had said that the elephant might have gone to Mettupalayam Kallar forest due to rain and mosquito problem.

"The single elephant had come to Nilgiri forest area from Kallar and camping here for food and water.There was mosquito problem due to continuous rains for few days at this place.As the elephant was not able to climb mountains due to soil moisture may also be the other reason. ", Forest Officials said.
