5 Lakhs roses will be exported from Nilgiri District for the valentines day

Every year Lovers Day is celebrated worldwide on 14th of February.Lovers will express their love on Valentine's Day by exchanging the roses.

Most of them will be waiting for this special day to propose their love.The main proposal thing for the lovers is Roses.Roses are used by young couples to married couples to express their love on lovers day.

The flower plants cultivation is high in Nilgiri District next to tea and the vegetable crops cultivation.Green House has been set up at Ooty, Kathy, Kotagiri and Kodanad areas.The flower plants cultivation is carried out inside the green house.

Though the roses are in many colours such as Red, yellow and purple, the highest selling roses on valentine's day will be only a red colour roses.

The bud roses will be exported highly to other states and countries.As of now, 5 million roses are ready to export from the Nilgiri district to give a delight to lovers.
