Free Wi-Fi in Botanical Garden

Government Botanical Garden is a century-old garden in Ooty, Nilgiris. The garden is located in an area of about 450 acres. From different places and also from abroad several number of tourist inflict this place daily.

Government botanical garden is surrounded with green lawns and colourful flowers.Tourist by standing near to the flower or green lawn they will take snaps to make their trip memorable.As soon as taking the snaps everyone will have a wish to share their photos to their relatives or friends through the internet at instant, but due to the unavaillability of internet access, they can't share their photos in.

Particularly Ooty being mountain area there was trouble getting the proper signal. In this situation, the federal Government small city project has introduced international internet connection in Government Botanical garden.

So based on this Free wi-fi access was given in Ooty Botanical Garden from yesterday. In this ceremony, District Collector Shankar inaugurated this free wi-fi facility.

By introducing this new scheme in Government Botanical Garden, the tourist can share their photos with the relatives and friends immediately through any social network, whats app etc..,

When asked about this one of the tourists told when they take photos of nature they wish to send to their relatives.But due to the lack of signal in cell phone they have to wander here and there to search for web hubs.Bur now due to the Free wi-fi access the tourist are able to send their photos in an instant without any hassle. It brings great joy to the tourist.
