Increased influx of tourists to Mountain Train

The passengers to Mountain Train that operated from Mettupalayam to Coonoor was more on New Year Day(01st Jan 2017).During the journey, they have enjoyed watching the wildlife animals that roamed along the forest.

The first thing which comes to one traveller mind who has planned to come to Ooty is the Beautiful Mountain Train.Though it takes more time to reach Ooty by travelling through Mountain train, still one can enjoy watching the wild life animals that roamed along the forests near train route.So the tourist shows more interest to travel by Ooty Toy Train.

There is no adequate profit obtained by running Mountain Train.But by considering the tourist interest the southern railway administration is operating the Mountain Train.Not only the local people but also the people from other states and other countries shows more interest to travel through Toy Train.Ooty Toy Train has also got UNESCO status.

As the day before yesterday is a New Year Day, so there are numerous tourists from other states had travelled through Toy Train from Mettupalayam.The train has started from Mettupalayam at 7.10 am in the morning.The Train went slowly through the dense forests.The passengers of the train have also enjoyed watching the wild animals including Elephant, Deer, Wild Cattle, Rabbits and Monkeys.

The mountain train was arrived Coonoor Station by 10.30 am.The tourists who landed in Coonoor visited Coonoor Sim's Park and Kattery Park and they enjoyed their beautiful views.They also visited Lambs Rock and Dolphin Nose View Points.As the day before yesterday is a New Year, all the tourist places were filled with tourists.
