Coimbatore airport to Ooty by Bus:
People reaching coimbatore airport need to go to New bus stand in Sai baba colony, to get ooty bus. there is no direct bus services from Coimbatore aiport to Ooty
First you have to take private/government bus or cab from airport to New bus stand in sai baba colony. There are many government buses starting from New bus stand, Sai baba colony to Ooty. Buses are available at every half an hour once from bus stand, but you need to wait in queue to board the bus, as ooty bus is usually crowded.
The cheapest way to reach ooty from coimbatore is by bus via Coonoor route, but the travelling time is usually more than going by cab. Although the bus fare is cheaper, waiting in queue to get bus and usually crowded government buses, would make the journey tiresome.
