It was a pleasant trip.Best time to visit is evening .The bus safari will be cheaper when compared with gypsy safari is costly.Tiger sightings are rare while you are most often likely to you spot deer, stags, peacocks, birds and at times a group of elephants. Nice place to visit once if you love nature at its best

Bandipur national park is located amid the picturesque surroundings on the way to Mysore-Ooty road. Different varieties of animals and birds can be spotted in this place. Facilities like canteen and restroom are not available. Safari is available and the morning safari is around 6.30 am and the evening safari around 5 pm. If you are lucky you can spot tigers other than that you can see bison, peacocks, deer etc.., Avail forest department safari's which is cheaper. The private vehicles cost you more around Rs 1100 to Rs 1500.
