Glenmorgan is a good place to visit in Ooty. There are no crowds, no garbage, serene views. There is a beautiful lake surrounded by the Glamorgan tree estates and a small green hillock which is accessible for a climb. It is recommended to have a picnic to this place with your family and friends.

Glenmorgan is one of the unknown best tourist spots in Ooty. It is not much familiar among the tourist but the spot is with an awesome view. You can spend time in Dam, Powerhouse, trekking and tea estate. It is about 25kns from Ooty. You will reach the TNEB check post and there you will find this Dam. If you want to visit power station you need to get permission from EB department.

Glenmorgan just 25 km from Ooty is a beautiful gem of a scheduled town in the Nilgiris. The driver to that place from Ooty will be fabulous. There is a beautiful dam where you can relax and take snaps. There is a winch available which goes down the Singara but you need permission to get a ride.Pen stock viewpoint is near to Glenmorgan from the viewpoint you can see the Singara powerhouse, Moyar river and an excellent valley view.

Glenmorgan is one of the best picnic spots for the tourists. It offers different views of the Mudumalai National Park, The Moyar Valley and power house at Singara.Take your own food and drinks as there are no shops nearby. To enter the winch area, you need to get special permission from TNEB department. Not a good place for elders as you need to climb 100 meters to reach the dam.

Beautiful spot with the eye catching view, here only there is an old tea plantation estate and also there is a dam. There is a winch which goes down to Singara, but to ride you need to get the TNEB special permission. Penstock the viewpoint is also close to Glenmorgan. There are no shops or hotels in and around this spot. Photography is strictly prohibited from the viewpoint because it is a restricted place.
